Content

The community and their expertise is the driving force behind DealzME, so we try to take a liberal approach when it comes to what we can and can’t talk about on site providing all users are respectful toward one another.

As a general guide, we don’t permit the following; please respect our position in regards to this list

You may NOT do the following:

• Post any User Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
• Harm any person (minor or adult) in any way;
• Impersonate any person or entity, including a DealzME administrator, a forum leader or moderator, guide or host;
• Falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
• Manipulate identifiers in any way in order to disguise the origin of any User Content;
• Post any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation or self-promotion;
• Post material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware;
• Post User Content discussing how to perform, elude discovery, or profit from illegal activities;
• Post scanned manufacturer coupons;
• Post User Content or links to sites that include nudity or graphic descriptions of sex;
• Post User Content or links to sites with grotesque, gruesome or disgusting pictures/videos;
• Post User Content that insults or attacks other users;
• Post User Content that uses vulgarities and obscenities;
• Post inappropriate images;
• Post spam, self-promotion or referral links. Such links (including URL shortened links such as bit.ly) may be automatically stripped;
• Offer to buy anything from other users;
• Offer to sell anything to other users;
• Give reputation points for inappropriate reasons, or abuse the reputation system in any way;
• Intentionally tag posts inaccurately or in a misleading manner;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site;
• Taunt the moderators to delete your post; or
• Start threads about why your thread or post was deleted, or post warnings, bannings, or other private issues between moderators and users...

General Guidelines for Images & Avatars

• Images and avatars must be PG-13 rated (for example, no people wearing thongs, see-through clothing, or who are partially undressed or nude)
• No pictures of (or suggestive of) sexual acts, including sexually suggestive kissing.

Behavior

Users are expected to work with the rest of the community, not against it. As such, the following behavior may lead to your user account being suspended or banned

• Trying to break or interfere with DealzME.com and it’s usability
• Attempting to derail threads, or voting in an unfair manner
• Creating multiple usernames specifically to avoid user account restrictions or suspensions
• Any other malicious use of DealzME.com is strictly prohibited

Enforcement and Communication

All users have access to the report button. We encourage users to report any content or behavior which they feel should be reviewed by a moderator. If a user is attempting to upset you, try to avoid retaliation - use the report button and let site staff deal with the situation for you. If you or your content is reported, a moderator may contact you

• Advising you that your content has breached our terms
• For serious or repeat breaches, you may be temporarily suspended from DealzME.com
• Your content may be moderated, edited or removed, depending on the type of problem
• You may be permanently banned from DealzME.com community if you cannot respect the site, the guidelines and its users
• Merchants and stores may also be banned from DealzME.com if they provide poor customer service, or attempt to self-promote / incentivize posts on our site

Privacy Statement

• As a member, you are fully responsible for your posts. If you change your mind about a comment you've made on the forum, you are able to delete it.
• If you choose to delete your user account, please use the contact form. Upon deletion, your username, subscriptions and email address will be deleted from the system, however any comments you have made will remain on-site. This action is irreversible so please think carefully before requesting deletion.
• You’re in control of the email address stored, and can amend this at any time.
• We advise members not to use their real name as their username.
• We will never share your email address with a third party. If a legal complaint is made about something you wrote on DealzME.com, you will be notified and given the option to delete or defend your comment

Site Staff

Moderators are here to help the community, and keep DealzME.com as user-friendly as possible. They do not make the rules on site, but their role is to support the community by enforcing site guidelines. Please respect their position and understand that they are real people, too.

• If you disagree with a moderator decision, please use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the forum to send a brief description.
• Admin will have the final say in any disputed decision and on all aspects of the forum.
• The opinions and views of our members are not necessarily those of site staff or administrators

Compensation for posting coupons, deals, and other offers

• You may not pay or compensate in any manner a user of DealzME to post any User Content, or otherwise promote your business or services.
• You may not accept any payment or other compensation from a third party for

• Reviewing coupons, deals, and other offers
• Promoting a business or service.

Competitive Sites

• You may not mention or link to competitive sites. If the site is censored, do not post that site or include them in your signature. Listing them in any context for a deal is not allowed.

The trademarks and logos displayed on the Site are trademarks of DealzME.com and/or its affiliates, unless otherwise specified.

Nothing contained on the Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any license or right to use the Trademarks displayed on the Site without the express written permission of DealzME.com.

You must retain, on all copies of material downloaded from this Site, all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the material.

The use of Copyright Material and/or Trademarks by you, or anyone authorized by you, is prohibited unless expressly permitted by these Rules and Regulations, or express permission is provided elsewhere on the Site or express permission is provided by DealzME.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any reason or no reason, including for any suspected or actual violations of the Policy, and to remove, modify or move the location of any User Content for any reason or no reason. Deal Editors may decide not to Frontpage a deal if they suspect a deal of having manufactured or otherwise received fraudulent votes.

Some, any or all permissions to view and/or use the Site are subject to change, for no reason and no advance notice.

The rules that we have put in place in this Policy are guidelines that our team uses to ensure that our website remains orderly.

It is impossible for us to write a rule for every conceivable circumstance and situation.

Thus, our moderators will look at every situation individually and try to apply this Policy and look at the “spirit” and intent of the Policy. If it is not cut and dry, they will do their best to make a judgment call.
